Personal

Born in Pensacola, FL… Oldest of five siblings… Nickname is “Shell”… Mother Rosa, who lived with chronic inflammatory disease lupus for more than 13 years, passed away in 2004 from complications associated with the disease… To honor her mother’s legacy she hopes to increase awareness of lupus by raising money for treatment and to find a cure… Has a degree in psychology from Tennessee… Credits high school coach, Alison Davis, as being her biggest sports influence… Hobbies include reading, writing poetry and traveling.
